As part of the ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM), all ASEAN countries have expressed their agreement and support for the establishment of the ASEAN Treasury Forum (ATF), which was initiated by Indonesia in 2023. 

– The establishment of the ASEAN Treasury Forum (ATF) is one of the topics of discussion in the series of activities of the ASEAN Finance and Central Bank Deputies Working Group Meeting (AFCDM-WG) on 21 and 23 February 2024 in Vientiane, Laos.

The Indonesian Ministry of Finance took the initiative to form the ASEAN Treasury Forum (ATF), which was initiated by a high-level meeting between high-level treasury officials from ASEAN member countries and a seminar to discuss current issues regarding the digitalization of public financial management.
